Samantha’s Answer

This is a wonderful question! A couple of the more difficult parts of being a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant are keeping up with good documentation and time management. Documentation occurs for each patient that is seen. Each setting is slightly different, however detailed notes are a great asset to have and one of the more difficult aspects for most people. Time management between doing your treatments and documentation and other pop items that happen during the day can be exhausting if not done properly. However the reward you will get from the field and helping your patients will be amazing. I love when I can help someone stand up for the first time in months, or something as "simple" as use the bathroom or take a shower. Seeing a patients face light up when they realize they can start to return to their life and get back to the things they love is heartwarming.
