Pamela’s Answer

It takes at least a Masters degree to become a Nurse Practitioner there are also doctorate degree programs. Each college has their own program for the different certification that you will need to pass at the end to become licensed. There are pediatric, adult-geriatric, family, acute care and psychiatric. There might be others as well but these are the most common programs. You need to be taking courses towards a bachelors degree in nursing prior to enrollment. There is also a practical or hands on part of the program for each level.
