David’s Answer

Why would you do anything you’re forced to do? No one wants a doctor that really doesn’t want to be one. Watch episodes of Trauma Life in the ER. and Untold Stories of the ER.

The best way to find out what you like, is make a written list of what you don’t want to be. The answer usually falls into your lap.

Whatever career you pick, remember it’s just a career. It’s not who you are! If you are a fun loving sort of person, don’t pick a job that’s not fun, or one you don’t love. You’ll stand out like a soar thumb. Part of being good at what you do, is not to stand out at all! When you walk away, you want people to say, who was that masked person?
