Officer Jody E. Beyer (Ret.)’s Answer
The FBI doesn't necessarily choose it's agents based on the specific college they attend. The FBI looks for individuals that are well rounded, and get excellent grades in areas such as accounting, law, and statistics. If you lean towards degrees in accounting, with concentrations on courses in statistics you will make a great analyst. Should you decide to move towards a Juris Doctorate, that is even better. Many FBI agents have law degrees, even though the starting salaries are low, you can move up if you exemplify a great work ethic. Another degree that might be of more interest to you is Information Assurance. The FBI also seeks out those with an expertise in anti-hacking and the I.A. degree covers those areas. Best of luck!
