Nuette’s Answer

In addition to the great list of careers already noted by Cynthia Hodges, there is also 'Alternative Dispute Resolution', also known as ADR. The two positions available at the firm I worked for was Case Manager and Account Manager. The Case Managers worked directly with the mediator/arbitrator as a liaison between the parties as well as assisting the mediator/arbitrator in the capacity similar to admin/legal secretary. Account Managers generally functioned in a sales capacity.

I transitioned out of ADR a long time ago, however the key take away I can offer is, if you are sharp, a hard worker with good work ethics and the ability to adapt and pick up things quickly, you will be able transition to many other careers besides Criminal Justice, should you wish to do so.
