Is this field growing enough so there is room for someone like me ?

There was no internet. DNA was unknown.

In the future, artificial intelligence will create new, amazing industries. Bio-engineering will permit the development of drugs to prevent diseases from attacking us. Intergallic flight will be possible and the material resources from other planets and asteroids will create totally new industries.

Entrepreneurs, who can visualize the practical application of these and other events as well as discoveries, will create products and services we are unable today to contemplate.

Yes, business will continue to thrive, entrepreneurs will continue to solve problems and you will be amazed by the career opportunities available to you. Study hard, learn about the sciences that interest you, push your self to learn math, visit the library and become acquainted with the writings of futurists.
