Metal is incredibly strong. Being in a position to know how to manipulate it and secure it isn't something everyone gets a chance to do. Being a good welder is the result of practiced, nuanced skill and its a great challenge to push yourself to be the best you can be. I find this dedication to be the most satisfying part of the job. When you pair that accomplishment with the fact that you are ultimately playing with fire, its exciting.
