Nathan - pick a theme: Pewdiepie got big by making game play videos of scary games (his scare reactions are what won over his early audience). What's your theme? A type of game that you really enjoy playing, or a type of game that brings out a funny reaction of yours...

The game titles are the way people will find you. No one will be looking for "Nathan in Arkansas" on YouTube but they'll definitely be looking for "Untitled Goose Game Fails" - don't take it personally, use it as an opportunity to strategize what games you want to highlight. Highlighting a game that everyone else is making videos about puts you into competition for viewership - sometimes choosing niche games with passionate audiences is a good way to break into the space.

Upload consistently. The most important thing is that you enjoy making these videos - because to grow an audience you'll need to upload at least once a week. At this point, the expectation is daily. It's a commitment!

Hi Nathan!

I think everything Andres said is spot on. You MUST love doing it or else you won't be able to break away from the competition. To start, I would do the following.

1) What is your favorite video game & why?
2) What is 3 minutes of the best advice you can give on that game?
3) Make a 3 min video of that advice and mix in gameplay.
4) You will find that once you create one video - all other videos will become easier to produce.

This is a great idea, for the first step of game player, I think you can search some IP for upload videos like youtube, facebook. to figure which one is the most easier for you to upload your video.

For the type of the game, I think terror game and some Moba game can be more easy to do the gameplay for your first time and you need to have a machine to record your video if your game is on Playstation, Xbox, switch...
