Richard’s Answer

You can focus on the physical portion and major is kinesiology, or you could focus on the video part and major in something film related. Both would probably help you on your path.

Enrique’s Answer

I too share love for mountain biking. Mountain biking has grown extremely popular over the years and continues to grow world wide. It is a great idea to consider starting a YouTube channel about what you are passionate about. I watch a lot of YouTube channels and follow fellow MTBikers for tips and tricks. I would consider having some understanding of marketing to help market the product you want to deliver. A comprehensive background will also be valuable to help you deliver a clear and concise message and keep your audience engaged. Now, if you plane to promote or sell products a finance or economic class would help as well. Videography classes would be extremely helpful so you can identify a professional setting and deliver top tier content. Now, gear up, get out and SEND IT !!!

Enrique recommends the following next steps:

Research Videography, YouTube Finance,
Talk to your school counselor about College courses

Carrie’s Answer

YouTube has certainly established careers for tons of people, but I don't think their success was by accident. In my opinion, I would invest in marketing classes to know how to efficiently get your message out there by targeting the right audience. You also need to have strong writing skills because at some point you are going to need to outline and explain your business plan to investors. After all, commercials are the lifeblood for online forums, and those companies will need info about you before advertising on your channel. Lastly, I would say accounting/finance classes to help you budget and out your $ to best use. Go get 'em!
