To become a Pilot firstly it is recommended you get a Class II medical test done from a DGCA Approved Medical Practitioner in order to first see if you are medically fit to fly.

Once you are considered medically fit you can join a flying school .The Flying School must be recognized by the Civil Aviation Ministry. Most Flying Schools accept students who have passed 10+2 Science stream. Minimum marks requirement is around 50% marks .
To be eligible for pilot training one should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, chemistry and Mathematics. For admission, there is a written test that comprises test papers like English, maths, physics, reasoning, general awareness and current affairs. The minimum age to get enroll in a pilot training institute is 17 years. One has to fulfill the medical standard as prescribed by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
