Evangeline’s Answer

Hello,

Being respectful by listening to your teacher during lessons is one way of being good to your teacher. Participation in class -- either by asking questions on topics you do not understand or answering review questions in class is another way of showing your teacher that you are interested and ready to learn.

I'm pretty sure you are a great kid and want to do good. Focus takes practice. Give your full attention in class and you will be surprised that it can actually be fun.

You can do it!

Veronica’s Answer

Hi Evangeline,

My answer is to be perceived as a "good student" you will need to participate in class, have respectful behavior and complete homework and assignments. My advice is to try to arrive to class a few minutes early to ask any questions you might have on the material you might not understand. Make eye contact with the teacher during class to demonstrate your attention and focus. I wish you the best - if you are willing to change thats the first step.

Veronica recommends the following next steps:

Review the material you have learned a write down 3 things you would like to either have questions on or would like to know more about. Find an opportunity to speak at an appropriate time before or during class.
