Hi Dalton, in this field, the opportunities are wide open. To land a job, a combination of education and professional experience will be considered by a hiring manager.
Here's a website that has job postings under the 'careers' section at the bottom of the page: https://www.americanforests.org/. Looks like a bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for many of the openings currently listed.

I am a student finishing up in Agriculture with a minor in Horticulture. There are many jobs out there, but most I see in urban forestry require at least a certificate of some sort (landscaping maybe?) or a degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Environmental Science or a related field. There are some great opportunities out there, a guy in my urban forestry class is a climbing tree arborist, and he loves the job. There are many different ways to get into the field, but I would look into a certificate or bachelor's degree.
