Suggestions: **Substitute teach in a supportive school with a good administration. **Take a class at a college/university such as Intro to Teaching. Make sure the class allows you to shadow or do a short internship where you can observe a teacher and ask them questions and work with students.

I would also dive deeper into the type of school you want (urban, rural, suburban, independent, charter, parochial, etc.). Teaching requires lots of work and where you work plays a major role in your happiness.

Hi Kam, if you're looking to enter the teaching world, I would research colleges within your budget that have a great education school. There are also lots of scholarships out there for teachers - I see that you adding the hashtag for math. Check out sites like this one to find scholarships for math teachers https://www.bestvalueschools.com/math-education-scholarships/

You will want to make sure you are sharp on your math skills for the grade level that you want to teach- I would research your county's math curriculum for the grades you want to teach. If you provide more clarity on your age/where you are in the journey, I can provide additional guidance.
