What college should I go to be a youtuber

Full Sail University has courses in Game Design, Game Animation, Game Production, Game Development, Game Mechanics, Level Design and Artificial Intelligence. The best way to get into social media doing videos through Youtube is to learn how to feel comfortable in front of the camera, editing footage, public speaking, coding and programming your own games, and developing your own apps. You can learn this by doing research, reading books, watching other Youtube videos, and also by taking math and computer classes. It is always good to know what courses you need to take and pass successfully, to get hands-on training in game design. Then also, try internships when developing games and game apps as well. Being a Youtuber, in my opinion can go beyond just video and audio, but you can build a successful online platform just by what you learn, research, and develop hands-on.

Caleb, many colleges now offer majors in digital media, game development and related programs that you should check out. Because you live in central Texas, I suggest you look at St. Edward’s University. I know they have a major in Digital Media Management and also one in Video Game Development. Community Colleges also offer similar two-year programs. If you see a program that interests you, contact the school’s admission office for more info. Be sure to ask about internships and job search services at the schools and what kind of jobs their alumni are getting.

Since you are interested in gaming, you should also know that schools now offer e-sports teams or clubs. Some even offer scholarships to attract highly competitive players! So look out for those opportunities too.
