How do you know that you want to become a civil engineer?
#engineering. I am 15 years old and civil engineering seems great but I’m unsettled about it.

I am a mechanical, but I started my college education enrolled as a civil engineer and then switched to mechanical. To me the big difference between the two is that civil engineers design and build things that do not move (like buildings, roads, bridges, etc.) while mechanical engineers build things that move (like automobiles, machines, airplanes, etc.). Electrical engineers design and build things that have to do with electricity (like motors, generators, computers, electrical transmission equipment, etc.). So, ask yourself would you rather build a shed in the backyard, fix a broken bicycle or take a computer apart. I suggest that you search the Internet for Civil Engineering to get a better idea of what they do and the types of projects they work on. Also, search some of the other types of engineers, or just engineering in general to see what appeals to you..
