What are some classes I can take in high school to prepare me for pediatrics?

I am a junior taking statistics, biomedical, chemistry and other basic classes. There are a few options for other medical classes at my school just not sure which math classes or medical classes would be the best. #medical-school

Hi, I'm pre-med right now. Take classes that align with pre-requisites. I'd say AP chemistry or its equivalent and biology too. An anatomy/physiology class is def helpful.
Some med school requires math I think, so get in a dual credit class if possible and get math credit early.
Also an overlooked point is psychology and some kind of reading comprehension class [my advisor suggested a literature class]. These would help with critical thinking., relevant for CARS on MCAT.

Focus on developing good study habits and adapting to classes quickly.

Take as advanced as math and science as you can, focus on biology and anatomy classes, if offered at your school. An important thing to do is to also take first aid classes and CPR certifications, either through your school or these classes are often offered through groups like YMCA. It's helpful for your school applications to show that you have already completed these certifications.
