Do you have to get hands on training instead of going to college

I want to go to get training for being a nurse but i would rather do online then actual school #healthcare

School options are now going towards online education and we are a very mobile society. You can go so school to be a nurse online and you will have to complete a number of hours seeing patients. It is a very rewarding career.

Hi Michelle. Yes, you can absolutely do that! A lot of students are taking that route. I'd recommend that in addition to completing your online nursing degree, that you get hands on experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant. This requires a training program and testing to get certified, but this will allow you to gain the experience to decide if nursing really is for you. You can also get trained to be a CBRF caregiver.
