Hi Abby. Based on you said you wanted to be a dentist and to do some braces stuff, I have advice that you could go finishing dental school first and then continue to study the orthodontics specialty. Once you become orthodontics, your mainly daily work would be consulting with patients, making their treatment plan, and executing the plan including putting on braces, or you could assign your assistant to actually do it. Hope this can help you.

Hi Abby,
Based on your question, it seems you have an interest in becoming a dentist and specializing in orthodontics. First, you'll need to complete dental school, which will provide you with the foundational knowledge and skills required to practice general dentistry. After earning your dental degree, you can then pursue a specialty in orthodontics through additional training and education.
As an orthodontist, your daily responsibilities will include consulting with patients to understand their dental needs and goals, developing personalized treatment plans, and overseeing the implementation of these plans. This often involves fitting and adjusting braces.
Additionally, some general dentists undergo extra training and certification to provide Invisalign treatments, which can help with minor cases of misaligned teeth.
