Hi Nicholas, this is a great idea if it aligns with your passions and values! I'd highly recommend to do plenty of research before committing to this. Like the answer before me, you will need to understand if any insurance is needed. Because parents are incredibly protective over their children, you would need to kid-proof your entire day care space and communicate your brand in a way that will make parents 100% comfortable trusting you with their children.
It may be helpful to find a mentor in this space. This can be a trusted adult in your life, someone else who manages a daycare (maybe browse through LinkedIn, or think about any daycares that may already be running in your community), or someone else who is experienced in the professional world that can provide you guidance. Mentors are committed to helping guide you to success, and having the support of one would help immensely.
Good luck with what you decide!
