Hello Joseph!

It's fantastic that you've had such an interest in sports from such a young age. Being passionate about a career field is a great predictor of success! The best thing to do now, is get curious about what it will take to become a sportscaster, and do all the research you can on that topic, so that you can prepare for your future as a sportscaster. Questions to ask are: 1) What kind of education will I need in order to become a sportscaster? You may Google topics like "careers in broadcast journalism" or "education needed to become a sportscaster." 2) Do all the research you can, and then make an appointment with a school career counselor. They can also help you understand the educational requirements, and curriculum you'll want to pursue, and how to start on that path. 3) Once you know what the requirements are, check out the best schools for the field. 4) You can also read biographies of your favorite sportscasters, to see how they became successful in their fields. 5) Look for a mentor who knows about the field. Your school may be able to help you with that. 6) Go do a TV studio tour, or even reach out to your local news station sportscaster to see if they will speak with you. Knowing what you want to do is half the battle, so I say congratulations to you for that! And I wish you great success in your pursuits.
