Alice’s Answer

Hi. I’m assuming you are asking about problema we encounter in our jobs?
I think you’ll find any job similar to working in teams for school projects. There will always be people that don’t pull their weight, those that take credit for others work, and disagreeable people. Overall if you can find a reputable company and a good manager these are minimized.

Paul’s Answer

Hi Bryan.

You're question could be answered a number of different ways depending upon a person's career. Different careers will have unique challenges and problems a professional in that chosen field will have to deal with so my response will be specific to what I do.

The main problem I deal with is managing expectations. As a Senior Compliance Associate and at a financial institution in NYC, one of my responsibilities entails providing feedback to individuals who are seeking to create marketing materials. I have to make sure that these materials are compliant with regulations. Sometimes a person may not like the feedback I give them and may try to change my mind in order to get what they want. In those situations, I have to be willing to hear their point of view without compromising my position. Also, there may be times when I'm wrong and I have to be mature enough to admit that.
