What courses in high school can I start taking if I want to be a Dental Hygienist?

Hi Morgan -

While there may not be a class at your high school directly related to dental hygienics, your course work around science will be very beneficial. I would encourage you to focus on biology and other life sciences that will help prepare you for the type of course work seen in dental school.

Take as much chemistry as you can including biochemistry and take physiology. You might need to take other classes first (prerequisites.)
