The average is between $70,000-$90,000 depending on where your working and how much experience you have. It is a great field to get into and it really pays off especially if you love kids. I myself am still pursuing my NICU nurse degree.

Use indeed, glassdoor and payscale to get the most accurate rate in your area. Depending where you work (city. State, Company) pay can be higher or lower. These websites give you the REAL salary being offered by employers. Good luck!

Hi Abby,
This is a wonderful field to get into. Though I don't know what the average salary for NICU nurses is specifically, the median salary for a nurse is $71,000 accordingto onetonline.org. This can vary by city and state, but I hope this gives you an idea. Good luck!
