I really don’t think it matters as much as you think
You will have no trouble getting a job when you graduate no matter where you go

Hi. So glad you asked the question. My alma mater, University of Missouri - Kansas City, has a great dentistry program. The University of Missouri has 4 locations, Colombia, St. Louis, Kansas City and Rolla Missouri. The tuition is moderate, and the School of Dentistry is in Hospital Hill, where Truman Hospital and Children's Mercy Hospital are located.
You might also think of going to a junior college to complete your general education requirements, then transferring after you receive you AA degree. It will save you a lot of money in the long run, unless you are eligible for scholarships and can afford a 4 year institution.
I simply googled Top dentistry schools, and UMKC was there. Consider where you want to go to school in terms of climate, accessibility, metropolitan/urban/rural location, and make the best choice for you to excel in their environment.
I wish you the best as you finish high schools, and hope that you will be able to explore many schools with college tours (including virtual) and that you do your research. Don't forget about HBCU schools also. They offer some wonderful opportunities for everyone. Work hard and succeed.
