Hello Lauren,
It may be best to look close to home, unless you would like to move out of state! You would specialize in Ob/Gyn after you start practice. I see you are writing from Iowa. I found this resource online for you:
https://www.registerednursing.org/state/iowa/
You want to make sure that any school you attend offers scholarships and has a high state board pass rate.
Here is a website that will allow you to search for programs nationally:
https://nursejournal.org/bsn-degree/four-year-bsn-programs/
Once you successfully complete your BSN, you will take your state board test. Make sure you take this test in the state where you want to live. You can transfer your nursing license from state to state, but often this requires meeting the requirements of the state where you are moving.
Does this help?
Look for a local college or university
Inquire about the school's state board pass rate
Ask about scholarships

I think you should look at all of your options. In my experience, all of the local BSN programs had a different requirement for entry into the program. I picked one school that was a good fit and then worked towards obtaining their requirements. I did not find any advantage of expensive private school grads over public school. We all obtained the same RN degree and I had a healthy mix of both in my first job.
