A typical work day is 7 am to 4 pm with an hour lunch. 5 days per week. It is like you see on tv, with cubicles lots of people working together, having meetings to discuss ideas, lots of time behind the computer designing. As an electrical engineer you may want to get your professional license and possibly open your own office designing power systems, that would include transformers, breakers, switches, motors , lighting and the such. Consider getting your degree in electrical engineering. Its a tough degree but worth it in the end.
