i am 9 grade student i am interested in teacher

I have certification in Social Studies and School Counseling. Finding a job in these areas is competitive. However, I live in Bergen County, NJ where teacher salaries are high so it is difficult to find a job. There are other places that do not pay as much so there is less competition. Also certain majors like Special Education are in high demand everywhere. Of course it is you who has to decide what you really want to teach and that way you will be a good teacher. Also look for programs like Teach for America where they put you in a difficult school and a mentor works with you. Good Luck
