Wouldn't we all! :) You have to study hard and master the material, that's the best way to do it. There's no shortcut. Read all of the materials, attend lectures, ask questions and engage with the material while it is being presented. Make sure you review old material regularly, as well. Make flashcards, take practice exams and be confident that you are prepared when you step in to take your exams. Don't forget to take a break once in a while, and these study habits will be a great foundation. Good luck!

YU’s Answer

Sounds like you are a very competitive person. Have you ever asked yourself why you want to ace all your competitive exams?

I personally do not like competitive examinations because the score only tells me how good I did in this class, not HOW GOOD I AM. Since these are competitive exams, your goal is to beat your peers. In this case, do you think you preformed at your best? Or just did enough to be better than your classmates do?

My suggestion is to put your ego asides and see :

  1. Did I give everything I got?
  2. How did I do compared to myself from last semester?
  3. How can I do better next time?
