What business degrees can help a person become a sucessful entrepreneur

To answer your question. Yes and no.

There are successesful entrepreneurs who haven't gone to college or dropped out of college and have gone to run their own successful businesses. Also there are entrepreneurs who have gone to college and have been successful running their own company.

However, I want to be honest with you. Just because you have a degree in Business doesn't mean you necessarily you will be a successful entrepreneur. I want you to ask yourself (please be honest for your own benefit,) "Am I a follower or a leader?" If you are a follower I don't recommend entrepreneurship. However if you are a leader, perhaps entrepreneurship might be right for you. Also I would follow up with the question what product, ideas, or services will your business be doing? Can you successfully manage and inspire a team? To be an entrepreneur you have to have a certain mindset. Some people have it other people don't. That's just how it is.

However, that being said there are a lot of things you can do with a business degree depending on your concentration of business you're pursuing. You will be able to find a job after college in the corporate world with your business degree. So even if you choose not to be an entrepreneur your business degree will still be really useful! This is a good question. Indeed degrees and what you can learn at school is useful and for sure will save your time for the future. But the most important is YOUR PROJECT and your real WISH to set up and make your business growing. You can have a lot o diplom, be the best at school but you may fail in your pro life. I think that Entrepreneur is more a deep and personal behavior. I think that reading books from great guys who succeeded in this could be relevant and of interest for you. Do not hesitate to multiply trainings in small companies with real Entrepreneur instead of doing trainings in big companies... Anyway if you feel inside of you this need to create your own business, if you have an idea you want to develop... DO NOT HEAR all the people who will tell you how difficult it is (excepted real Entrepreneur who already did this experience). Believe in your dream, TRUST YOU !

The sky is the limit with a business degree! Business is such a broad subject, so you'll have to pick a concentration that interests you.

Some concentrations commonly offered are Marketing, Human Resources Management, Leadership, Accounting, Communications, Information Technology and Sport Management.

A business degree can help you get a job at almost any major company, or can help you start your own business.
