Do my credentials qualify me for the position?
Hello, I am a current student going for my CMAA. I have years of life experience and office skills with a Bachelor's degree in human services. I do not have any years of experience working in the medical field or a medical office, but do have experience working in an office as an administrative assistant.

Your CMAA program should teach you everything you need to know to do your new job, and your previous professional experience will be a great foundation.
Hello Nancy,
Florida would be a wonderful place to be, right about now. The weather in Virginia is crazy!
Thank you for the feedback. I am feeling better about my decision to join in the CMAA program.
Best of luck to you in your career and thank you for all lives you have touched!
Best,
Janis S.

Hi Janis!
Your role in CMAA is supportive role. It's specialized administrative support in medical centers or office. What you have is cool once you get certified to be an administrator there just the way you can in other specialized sectors.
