Jocelyn’s Answer

Working in a doctors office is very rewarding. Lending advice to patients regarding health maintenance, routine screenings, annual exams, and vaccinations are among many health related topics you will encounter. For a CMAA, basic duties are giving vaccinations, performing vision and hearing exams, contacting insurance companies for authorizations regarding medications or medical equipment, and calling patients for follow up needs. It can be very time consuming. Often lunch breaks do not occur when you would like and staying after hours is routine.
