How much school is required if I want to become a pediatric dentist?

I might want to become a pediatric dentist, but I'm unsure if it would take too many years of school and if it would be very flexible. #dentistry #children #family-dentistry #pediatric-dentistry

You'll take 4 years of college, 4 years of dental school and then about 2 years of specialty training. If that seems like too much, I recommend becoming a dental hygienist. You can work for a pediatric dentist without the stress of running a practice, you'll have excellent work hours (usually Mon-Thurs), and you'll make great money! An RDH usually starts around $34/hour. Good luck!
