Do not graduate without obtaining professional experience. Apply for internships that will help you once you graduate to find a job and to learn about the multiples job opportunities within the field ( bench analyst, research, academia, regulatory, among others). There are so many options within science field that we are not aware of while we are students.

I would suggest to collect as much experience you can get through an internship or research opportunities. By doing so, it will help you have a better understanding on which career path you would like to take.

Be open-minded about research opportunities - you might be surprised what kind of work you enjoy the most! Don't assume you'll hate working in a certain lab without giving it a fair chance.

I suggest finding some chemist working in the various fields, and shadow them. Go to Linkedin and seek out chemists to visit with, pick their brains.
Find a summer job at a lab, talk to as many chemists as you can find. There are so many applications for chemistry, it almost limitless, your imagination is the only limit to your directions to go with a solid understanding of chemistry.
Make sure you understand chemistry, memorizing chemistry will not serve you well, understand it from the very basics.

Expose yourself to people who are working in the fields of your interest while you are at school if possible. Understanding a career from paper might be far from the reality. Get an internship, go to professional meetings, ask friends/family members to connect you to someone who is already in chemistry industry. You might be surprised how many potential opportunities are out there. All you need to do is to make dedicated efforts to explore and learn.
