Jobs that pay a lot and that do not require much school work (associates degree) and effort are: X-Ray Technologist (work in hospitals or clinics) and Radiation Therapy (Prepare the patient and equipment for treatment, administer radiation therapy, aid in the determination of radiation dosages. salary $82,000 yr working in clinics and hospitals, a 22 to 24 month program. Hope this helps.

Don recommends the following next steps:

search out what schools are nearby to obtain your associates degree.
Speak to an Academic counselor at the school of your choice and get guidelines on how long the program is, costs, placement rate of school to help you get a job in the field.
Suggest speaking to a professional in the field of Radiation Therapy and X-Ray Technology to determine if this is the right fit for you to go into.

Michael’s Answer

Becoming a nurse is a great paying job that doesn't require you to work 5 days a week. You are put in a rotation of 12 hours for 3 days, and then you are on-call for another 8 hours one day, so you basically work 3 12 hour days a week, and then are on call usually one day during the weekend. Plus the pay is great.

Another job that you make over $100K out of college once you get a job is a pharmacist. I am not sure of the hours associated with the job, but I know you are guaranteed to make $100K from your first year out of college.

Hope this helps.
