Not just business but to be successful you must have standards and be able to say word on many occasions. Even toward your boss I applied for this job and I don’t want anything less!

Understanding that failure will most likely be part of your journey to success, and that not everything will go to plan. Using networking sites like Linkedin are a great way to reach out to experts in the field you are interested in - dont be afraid to reach out to them for advice.

Hi Rayann,
This is a great question! There are so many business that truly enforce and help women in business grow. I think the best approach on how to grow and succeed in any field is by expanding your knowledge as much as possible by always asking questions, and learning more about the unknown and not being afraid to do so.
Also, accepting your mistakes and allowing this to help you grow on a professional and personal level. Leverage your resources offered to you, reach out to people and listen and learn from their advice!
Regards,
Emily

Networking and establishing relationships can be instrumental and key to your success. Throughout my career, the established contacts I integrated early on have been key to assisting with key business attributes, promotions, and great collaboration. There are multiple groups you can be involved in that have similar interests which can be very advantageous when it comes to being an entrepreneur and getting your business off the ground and established.

My Advise is to know your job, know your industry, be inquisitive all the time.. accept you don't always have the answers but be prepared to research and take ownership to find the answer. Whatever the business is always be professional and act in a manner to which people can aspire to emulate. Being able to identify each persons value and talent and allow them to be the best person they can be. Every person brings their own strengths to the table, know those strength and utilize them. Remember you cant move on until you have someone ready and groomed to take your spot.

Surround yourself with good people who know their skills and encourage these people to practice these skills. Look for people with skills that are different than yours so they can balance and complement your abilities. Be prepared to listen to opposing viewpoints than yours.
Business is like a sports team. Every player has a viewpoint, a skill and a certain position to play. Good business leaders are like Coaches or Team Captains who realize they don’t have to do everything alone, but they should make sure all the players are encouraged and working together for a common goal.

Goal setting is pivotial working in any industry/occupation and also in your personal life. I found it particularly helpful in the world of sales, where it helps not only to monitor the monthly/quarterly/annual quota, but also establishing daily/weekly targets in order to monitor activity levels (calls, emails, meetings etc). It will help you to define SMART goals and track your achievements against those milestones all the way to success!

Hello! My advise is to always be "intentional". Life moves fast in the hectic business world. Be intentional to control your day and not allow it to control you. Always be open minded and willing to listen. The best leaders in my industry often "crowd source" from the larger team to generate ideas and input. The value the input of others and take the time to listen to other ideas.
Never be afraid to fail. The path to success will inevitably include failed ideas along the way Those failures should be turned into key learnings. Remember to analyze the fail for what was learned and keep moving! The quicker we learn from our failures, the faster we move forward to success.

Success people believe that they have something special to add by providing the service or goods they are offering. So I'd advise the first step is that you should believe in your business idea. This strong believe helps you stay motivated and creative especially during hard times. Also network with people who are involved in the kind of work you do, because synergy can take you a long way. I believe in the cliche that if you want to move fast, then move along, however, if you want to move a far distant move with others. So surround yourself with a strong network of people who partner alot with you. Do help you know who these people are, develop your business model using the business canva. This is a good tool to help you understand the width and depth of your business idea potential. Thirdly, educate yourself in the area of interest. This could be formal education or informal education. Formal education means going back to school on the subject or different topics that you may need to learn. Informal education means learning the tricks of the trade through experience, working with experts and professionals etc.
When working in the business world, learn everything about business, that is, marketing, finances, operations, product design, research etc. You have to know alot about these areas, so that you can lead your team well. Finally, make sure you understand your SWOT - your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, so that you can know how to delegate to your team.
