2-Postgraduate study is often required by employers, so continue study with a masters or PhD in mathematics.
3-If you wish to go down the research or academic route then a PhD is required.

Dear,I don't know how can you become a mathematician. But what I know is if you really want to become something then first define it, believe it, dedicate yourself persistently until you will become that.

If you want to be a professional mathematician doing research , you will need to get a PhD in mathematics. If you are interested in applied mathematics, then you may only need a master's degree in mathematics or a related field (statistics, bioinformatics, data science, etc.).
