Hi,
In order to become a lawyer you will have to go to college for 4 years and get your undergraduate degree. My suggestions for undergraduate degree would be either English or Math as those two subjects give you a good understanding of the usage of words and their meaning (English) and analytical skills (Math), which are both skills that are needed by every good lawyer.
After you have your undergraduate degree and have taken the LSAT and passed that test, you will attend law school for 3 years if your are attending full-time (there are some schools that offer evening or night classes that take 4 years so that students that are working to help with the financial portion of going to law school can still attend, but being a full time student will take you 3 years). Once you have finished law school you will have to take (and pass) state bar exam in the state in which you intend to practice.
Good luck in your career path.

I went to law school in the evening. There's really no such thing as a part time degree. The evening program I attended was four years.

Law School is a standard 3 year education where you get a Juris Doctor. The students start in the fall and you go through the 3 years as a group. I attended law school many years ago. If there are changes to how that works, then I hope someone more recently through law school can also add some input.
