Hi Aliyah - That's a great question, and I happy to hear that you are on top of this already! The company I work for, PwC, is actually creating some videos to explain how to pay for college. One of them is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQcFLDfFnFg&feature=youtu.be

More videos will be coming later this summer, but you should concentrate on figuring out which schools you want to attend, how much they cost and what their financial aid packages look like, which can include loans (which you have to pay back), grants (you do not have to pay back) and scholarships (you do not have to pay back).

I hope that helps a little! Best of luck!

I agree with LaTecia's answers. I would also add, consider starting off at a 2year college and transferring later. It is less money and if financial aid is not an option, it is much easier to pay for out of pocket. Keep those grades high and you should be able to get some scholarships as well. A two-year school is really beneficial as well if your high school grades weren't the best. It gives you a chance to start fresh with a new GPA. You can transfer to a new school with less debt. Another thing is if you go to a four-year college you can sign up to be a resident advisor after your freshman year to get your room and board covered.
