Dr. Kelly’s Answer

Participating in such programs is not only harmless but also beneficial, particularly if you're interested in exploring health security matters in foreign countries or regions.

Upon completing your education, you'll be presented with a plethora of opportunities in international medical programs. These include emergency response roles with Red Cross agencies, Peace Corps, Doctors Without Borders, and other comparable positions. Although it's challenging to find MDs who are willing to stay put, having someone ready to travel is always a welcome asset!
