Hi Lauryn,
Elizabeth isn't wrong. Some extra information would be helpful but I can give you some examples.
Because you are young, look at how technology is growing and changing how you find, listen to, and enjoy music. Your generation will need to navigate more changes than the industry has already seen. How can you see yourself making an impact on those possible changes?
Keep in mind that technology and law will continue to be the sources of change, challenge, and controversy in our business. Can you see yourself in those areas of music?
Many artists look to make change through their images, their social interests, and their music. Is this something that would interest you?
Do you like to write or know a lot of people who do? That could set you up well for a career as a publicist or a journalist.
There are many, many ways that communication plays a part in the music business. These are just a few. As Elizabeth said, I'm happy to help more if you can be more specific.
Best of luck!

I would also consider moving to an area that has a music scene if you looking to work with musicians . Being there would allow you to build a network . For example I live in Nashville, my husband is a musician. You would also be able to network with others in the industry. Los Angles or Austin would be other areas
