Coty’s Answer

It took me many steps to reach being in charge of building maintenance for a company. I went to school for construction, did flooring installation, boat building, even janitorial. Even if you find a job you really like doing you also have to find a company you like doing it for. I had a building maintenance position that I love the work but the company was a bad fit. You will have some great managers and you have some horrible managers. That can make or break a job. At the end your family needs to be the most important thing. you need to remember your job is so you can take care of your family.

Rebecca’s Answer

You should view career as part of your life rather than a way to make your living. You should consider an area you are interested in and develop in that particular area.

Sometimes, people may start in one career. Then, they may find that may not interest to them or different from what they expect. They may change to an another career. Therefore, it is not necessary to stay in one career throughout your work life.

Hope this help.

Gaebrial’s Answer

Its important to think of your career as a journey not a one stop shop. In the modern work force it is very likely you will have a number of careers. As you are growing as a professional it is key to always give 100% I started my career flipping burgers, I did not want to do that forever and I didnt love it. BUT I was able to give 100% to the job I had and learn what I could from the role. Stay on that grind and always give 100%
