Hi Bhavan, The basic qualification needed to become a Cardiac Surgeon is an MBBS degree from any Institute approved by Medical Council of India. Then you should do three year MS in General Surgery. Then you should complete three year MCh in Cardiology after that. you can do fellowship in various. To qualify yourself to get into MBBS you should pass plus two with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. After which you need write a entrance exam to qualify.
Top most MBBS college in India AIIMS-Delhi, CFC-Vellore, AFMC-Pune, KMC-Mangalore, MAMC-Delhi, MMC-Chennai and many more depending on the region you are looking for.
