I have a couple of ideas as I am looking into colleges. How do I find which college fits me?
I am graduating soon and I am wanting to decide which career field best fits me. I love agriculture, photography and marketing design. which led me to #aricultural communicator that way I can get a job as a marketing specialist but I am freaked out about choosing a college

The biggest help in deciding which school to attend is to visit as many of them as you're able to.
That might not be of great help given the current 'stay-at-home' situation that most schools and most of the nation is up against at present.
Visiting will let you see what the campus and facilities look like, and if you're able to visit while classes are in session, you'll get a good feel for the school, the culture there, types of students, what the professors are like, etc......
Pick the school that has a good reputation in the field(s) you think you want to pursue, and of those schools, the one where you feel the most comfortable and at home.

First off, don't worry. This is totally common and I wish I had been this honest with myself when I was choosing a school.
I would recommend that you look for schools that have a wide array of degrees vs only liberal arts or and A&M type of school. This way you can keep your options open and minimize the need to potentially have to transfer when you do figure it out.
Most importantly, find a school that you love and you feel fits you. Its more of a gut check than anything and you will need to visit to figure that part out.
Finally, remember that most people don't end up working in the field they study. So once you do decide on a school and a major, you still have flexibility. After you have your first job under your belt, that will become more of the focus from hiring managers than your school or degree!

Hello Hannah, this is a great question. Its always important to know what you’re interested and in your case you figured that out which is amazing.
Here are some things you can do to get more clarity on which college fits well to your interests
- First of all, write down some colleges that offer these type of courses(agriculture, photography and marketing design)
- Then go to their website and look at their curriculum and see what type of sub courses they offer and generally they also include professors details. Maybe email to some of the professors from the colleges that you're interested and ask them some questions.
- In LinkedIn, search for "agricultural communicator" or similar job titles and see where they graduated from and maybe ping them with some of your questions
Remember one thing, you may not find the perfect combination of a degree with agriculture, photography and marketing design but figure out something thats close enough. As you start your degree, you can definitely bring your skillsets to your courses. For eg: if the degree is about agriculture marketing, you can bring your photography skills through some of your projects and that will be your unique selling point from other students.
Just stay confident, talk to multiple colleges, you'll do great. All the very best.
