Hey Terrence, I hope you are having a great day. Well first of all I am happy you are thinking of becoming a Paediatrician. In order to answer your question I would first say that it first depends on the country/region where you will practice. The reason why I say this is because each country has their own system of doing things, some don't put everything on paper while others write most of the things due to the fact that the technology is still behind. Nevertheless, you will not have a lot of paperwork and if there is ever a lot trust me you will have someone among the other stuff to help. Normally the paper work is when you write records, on the small boards near beds of a patient or when you are doing prescriptions. I am glad you are into paediatrics as it is an amazing job

All areas of medicine have a ridiculous amount of paperwork now! That why support staff is available to help you! Don’t let the paperwork scare you away! It’s irritating for sure but worth helping the kids!
