Hi Sierra-

Glad to hear about your interest in becoming a pharmacist. It's a great field and constantly evolving. I've enjoyed being involved in it since the beginning and look forward to its future.

Generally, it will take at least 5 years total, which includes 2 years pre-pharmacy undergraduate college courses and at least 3-4 years (depending on the pharmacy school) to complete a PharmD degree. The costs are variable, depending on relative location (in state vs. out of state), scholarships, public vs private universities, etc.

Personally, I spent 6 years to get my PharmD and it costs me around $20,000 total for tuition (which I paid via loans, government and private).

Hope this helps, good luck!
