Medical school acceptance rates are extremely low. "Difficult" is tough to quantify. However, you will need at least a 3.5 GPA (probably >3.8) to be a competitive medical school applicant.

You will definitely have to work hard and study many hours. You will need to get good grades in college in order to apply for medical school. At the medical school I attended, the average GPA is reported to be 3.85, so even one or two B's can hurt your chances of acceptance.

There is nothing to difficult to accomplish once you have made up your mind you want it. med school is indeed difficult but once other people have been able to make it, you can also make it. if your grades are not good, work towards getting good grades and put more effort in learning hard to get good grades.
