Would you recommend a career in Otolaryngology? Is it the same thing as ENT?
I’m considering going into medicine, but I don’t know what specialty is right for me. I would like a career where I can tackle important problems and make people’s lives better. What do you guys think? Would this be the right specialty? I’m trying to figure out which one is right for me. #medicine #healthcare #career #career-choice #doctor

Great specialty to choose. When I was in school, only the students with the top grades could expect to be accepted in ENT residencies.

Yes! ENT is a surgical specialty that is very competitive. They are able to operate on many different conditions to both save lives and improve quality of life. ENT usually has a great lifestyle as well. Good luck!

Yes, it is the same as ENT (Ear, nose, and throat doctor). ENT is a fantastic field that combines clinic with operating. These are highly skilled surgeons of the head and neck who can perform technically challenging procedures. The road to ENT involves 13+ years of training after high school.
