Should I apply to pre-med programs or pre-law programs?

In order to figure out what path I want to take in college, I would love to hear the opinions of professors in these fields! #professor

Having been a lawyer for many years and having lived with a physician, I may be able to help. Both careers offer satisfaction, however, I would think long and hard about either. The opportunities for attorneys is limited due to the huge number of people graduating from law school.. The debts associated with law school are difficult to overcome. Medicine has many more opportunities, however, corporate medicine has taken over and it has become a "factory" with the health care system profits coming way before the delivery of medical care. Also, be ready for a 24/7 life as a physician....you'll spend as much time dealing with medical records and insurance companies as you will with patients. I think the average time a physician spends with a patient is about 8 minutes.
Either career path is great....do an analysis as to where you want to be and decide. Neither me or my GF regret our decisions
