US News and World Report has a list of the top vet schools. Usually among the top are UC Davis (top this year!), Cornell, and Colorado State, but don't make the assumption that the other schools aren't good. Regardless of what school you go to, you come out as a veterinarian. More to think about is admission requirements, resident status (some have more slots open for state residents), cost (private vs state), style of teaching, and outside opportunities. It's very competitive to get in, and there's only 27 schools in the US so choices are limited.
