Hi Charmae,
If you are able to fit in a minor with what sounds like a double-major "go for it." Communications courses are a wonderful adjunct to almost ANY major! I wish you the best in whatever you pursue. Good luck.

Kim’s Answer

Charmae,

Sociology, Psychology, and Communications are all Liberal Arts-related majors. The major is not as important as what you actually LEARN.
Sure, take a course or two in communications. I don't see the benefit of a double major in Psych or Soc, or a minor in Communications.
For what it is you are trying to accomplish, I would branch out into Business, Marketing, Accounting, etc. These are the courses that us liberal arts people steer clear of.
But, you will need them. Also look for courses in Rehabilitative Services (not sure what they would be called). You have extremely ambitious goals.
You will also need very solid computer skills. Stay on top of changes in technology. Get good at using Adobe, cloud computing, etc.
If it was me, whatever the major is, I'd minor in business.
I realize this is probably not the answer you want to hear, but I hope it will be helpful to you.

Kim
